I am a professional software engineer with 5+ years of experience.

For the past few years I have focused on backend networking tooling (API Gateways, Service Meshes); recently I’ve shifted towards “agentic” tooling and projects.

Decided to join a startup for a faster-paced type of environment. It’s cool working on cutting edge products, both enterprise and especially OSS!

I’ve worked across different products – Gloo Gateway (API Gateway), Gloo Mesh (Service Mesh), and recently agentic teams (kagent, agentregistry). Being a fast-paced startup, I’ve worn plenty of hats and worked on some cool stuff aside from those products, which I’m too lazy to type.

Note: I will update this some other time.

I worked on the End-to-End Marketing Experiences (f.k.a. Hot Deals & Gateway) whose purpose was customer attrition (i.e. ads, promotional pages, gateway pages).

I did usual engineering work: debugging production issues (SQL), implementing and updating our user interface components (React), cross-team communications (marketing) to ensure we have specific pages set for important events.

Some notable things: 1. I improved load-time of the Hot Deals page by 200ms (a 15% decrease I load time), by optimizing catalog images served. 2. Worked with a team of 3 co-workers to transition a translation system we used to an in-house one under a strict 2(?)-week deadline.

Sofware Engineer Intern

Primarily fixed intern-level scoped bugs and features, ramping up on understand the company and team priorities.

I primarily handled a project involving automated bug logging and tracking based on user page interactions. Used SQL and React to develop an interface to track bug status as well as automating the initial logging of one’s occurrence. This helped our teams gain better initial insights on bugs, reducing communication needed to reproduce and track them.

While an intern, I also participated in Wayfair’s Community Coding Day, where I spent the day mentoring a student through an introduction to programming and logic using Scratch and Python.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

I studied Computer Science because I love math & technology.

For my senior project, a friend and I re-implemented a research paper focused on reinforcement-learning generative adversarial network algorithm in Python. TL;DR: It was training filling in 3D point-cloud data.
